Here is how I work with a buyer:
STEP ONE. You and I will need to get together and discuss your alternatives. We will set an appointment to have an informal, person-to-person discussion about what you are looking for in a home. If you are relocating to Jacksonville, we can conference over the phone, by fax, by mail or e-mail. It's not a problem. We can accomplish a lot even before you get here.
STEP TWO. We will evaluate your purchasing capacity and determine the right financing package for you. This is a pain-free process! The reason I do this before we look at homes is that many times I can save you time, and eliminate properties that do not fit your purchasing parameters. In addition, by going through this pre-qualifying step, you will be in a better negotiating position when we do find your perfect home.
STEP THREE. We will visit and look at homes that we have selected together with the aid of state-of-the-art computer information. The home buying process should be fun, not a burden.
Because I take the time to listen to your wants and needs, finding the perfect home will not take as long as you might think. In fact, it should not take us more than a day or two at the most.
STEP FOUR. Once we have found your perfect home, I will negotiate the purchase with the seller.
STEP FIVE. After we have reached a fair purchase agreement, we can transfer ownership of the home to you, and get you comfortably moved in.
There are a few details involved in getting the sale closed, and it requires a great deal of communication with a lot of people. During this step, my role is to see that all these details are handled quickly and professionally on your behalf, making the entire home buying process complete.
Buying a home is a big undertaking but it doesn't have to be a hassle, especially when we work together through the process.
